Honey mulled wine

Melt 1 dl sugar, 3 tbsp honey and 1 dl water in a saucepan.

Then add 1 teaspoon whole cloves, 1 teaspoon cardamom seeds, 1 piece of ginger (size to taste, works well with a small piece), 1 cinnamon stick.

Let it boil under the lid for about 10 minutes.

Pour in half a bottle of red wine (simple cheap is fine), half a bottle of unseasoned brandy (is fine with less if you don't want it too strong).

Heat and then strain off the spices.
